Tuesday at the European Open: Murray eases past Coppejans

Andy Murray won one of the 8 matches played on the second day of play in Antwerp, youngster Sinner also through.

Tuesday brought a lot of interesting matches in Antwerp. We have seen mostly wins in 2 sets. Feliciano Lopez defeated Cameron Norrie, Gilles Simon defeated home player Steve Darcis and also Jan-Lennard Struff got through after a 2 set victory. Wild-card holder Jannik Sinner also advanced after 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Woo Kwon Soon turned the match against Richard Gasquet when he was losing already 6-1, 3-3 and 40-30. But he managed to turn the second set when he did not lose a game anymore, winning it 6-3. In the third set he broke opponent's serve in the very first game and held his serve afterwards to win it 6-4.
The most interesting match was one of the last matches played during the second day of play in Antwerp. Andy Murray faced home wild-card Kimmer Coppejans. Murray managed to win the first set 6-4 in 41 minutes. Although he was twice a break down in the 2nd set, he managed to turn it to win the match 6-4 and 7-6.
