The day 4 Schedule of Play in Rio is headlined by Dominic Thiem who continues his quest to another trophy.
Day 4 in Rio kicks off with the 2nd seeded
Dusan Lajovic playing against Lorenzo Sonego of Italy. Lajovic has
been playing very good tennis lately and he will look to build upon that against Sonego. Lorenzo is a strong play on clay courts and could prove difficult to overcome.
After them, the Rio crowd will get to see a Brazilian on the court. Seyboth Wild will play against Coric who hasn't been
very good lately. As he stated before the season
getting healthy is the main goal and so far it's been good. But play naturally has deteriorated post-injury and the Rio crowd are hopeful about the upset.
Dominic Thiem returns to the court for the night session. His match is the last of the day and he will be looking to better himself from the
previous match. It was more of a struggle than many thought it would be but the Austrian prevailed. As opposed to last time the Rio crowd will be behind him when he faces Jaume Munar from Spain.
The Spaniard is an up and coming player who hasn't had the greatest of success on clay so far so it will be really tough for him against Thiem. Dominic has won this tournament before so he will look to do it again.
