Jack Draper names
Dominic Thiem as one of his idols alongside the big four of Federer, Djokovic, Nadal and Murray.
Jack Draper will replace Andy Murray as the British number 3 on Monday as he continues his breakout season. Draper opened the season well on the challenger Tour winning a couple of events after which he proved himself on the ATP Tour as well.
The Brit seems poised to become British number one eventually and a great list of tennis idols provide more than enough inspiration in that journey:
"Obviously, you've got those Big 4, Andy included in that. I'll also probably say, Dominic Thiem. When I was younger, he was someone I used to love watching and was always following. So, I'd say, Murray, the Big 3, and Thiem."
Talking further on the topic Draper broke down what they havein common:
"What they have in common is that they're incredible competitors on the tennis court. They all are quite electric when they're playing. You never know what's going to happen, but one thing you do know is that they're always going to be in the match and work hard for every point. Also, they've all got different styles and different ways of playing, and as a young player that is always exciting to see."
