Roddick suffers surprising injury after Pickleball Slam: "Haven’t picked up a paddle but not because I don’t want to"

Andy Roddick recently played at the Pickeball Slam but he got injured while playing the sport revealing them recently.

Roddick signed up to do the Pickleball Slam and he did with fellow former players like McEnroe and Agassi however he's not been too active since then. It's because he got injured while playing the sport at the event revealing it on social media in response to a podcast that covers news about pickleball.

Roddick disclosed that he has a torn meniscus as well as a stress fracture in his knee:

"Haven’t picked up a paddle but not because I don’t want to. Had a torn meniscus and a small stress fracture in knee. Need to heal up for a couple of weeks."

Even so, he seems interested in returning to the sport in the future which is good news for pickleball fans.
