Since 2017, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic have won 15 out of 16 Major titles to extend their dominance over the rest of the field.
Speaking about the Big 3, Marion Bartoli said that they care only about Major tournaments, reminding that Daniil Medvedev defeated Novak Djokovic at the ATP Finals in November but stood no chance in the Australian Open final. Bartoli has no doubt that Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic will dominate the most significant scene for a couple of more years, as the younger rivals can't deal with all the pressure best-of-fiver format.
"I believe that the Big 3 guys only care about Majors. Novak will try to match Roger and Rafa, and then it is all about who will end up with the most Major titles. Medvedev was able to beat Djokovic in two sets at the last year's ATP Finals, but it was a different story at the Australian Open. For Novak, Rafa, and Roger, it's just about how many Majors they can get.
It's going to be so hard for the young guns to take even one Major title away from them, as they have to beat at least two Big 3 players en route to the trophy. They have to endure best-of-five encounters, the physical and mental part; they are not quite there yet," Marion Bartoli said.
