The second-seeded Andrey Rublev and the third-seeded Felix Auger-Aliassime both handled their 2nd round matches in Adelaide successfully as they remain top contenders for the title.

2020 remains a dream-come-true season for Andrey Rublev who did not lose a set yet. First, he triumphed in Doha and now he continues in good performances also in Adelaide. In the quarterfinal, he was joined also by third-seeded Felix Auger-Aliassime who he can meet in the semifinals.
The young Russian kicked-off the day in Adelaide with 6-3, 6-3 victory over Sam Querrey. Day 4 in Adelaide was without third sets as all of the players advanced after two sets already.
Rublev was later joined by Lloyd Harris, Tommy Paul or Pablo Carreno-Busta who was the runner-up with Team Spain at the inaugural ATP Cup. Another Spanish player Albert Ramos defeated Jaume Munar, who replaced Novak Djokovic who pulled out of the tournament.
Alex Bolt and second-seeded Felix Auger-Aliassime were the last two to win on Wednesday in Adelaide. Rublev and Auger-Aliassime remain the top contenders for the title in Australia after Djokovic's withdrawal.
