Rublev takes spoils in Tennis Showdown exhibition against Medvedev

One day after battling Carlos Alcaraz in the Indian Wells final, Medvedev took on compatriot Andrey Rublev in an exhibition match in Mexico City losing that one too.

Exhibition matches around the world are getting steam and we are seeing more and more players playing them. Just a day after losing to Alcaraz, Medvedev played Rublev in Mexico City as part of an exhibition event called 'The Tennis Showdown'. Rublev played a really fair match taking advantage of the somewhat tired Medvedev

The final score was 6-4 2-6 7-6(4) with Rublev lifting the trophy. They only signed up for the event because both are seeds in Miami and won't have to play in the first round.
