The Australian Open will hold a series of practice matches with some of the biggest stars in the tennis world such as Nadal, Djokovic, Medvedev, Kyrgios, Gauff and more.
The practice matches began today and will continue on for a few days. The price for the matches is 10 dollars per person if you're an adult and 5 if you're a child. The most anticipated practice match will be between Djokovic and Kyrgios. It's their first time sharing the court since their Wimbledon final and prices will be 20 dollars. It will happen on January 13th.
The week opened today with a practice match between Denis Shapovalov and Holger Rune. Tomorrow we'll get to see Jessica Pegula take on Coco Gauff. On Wednesday we'll see Felix Auger-Aliassime and Christian Garin with Djokovic facing Medvedev on the same day. Thursday will see Zverev take on Thiem, Sabalenka will play Sakkari with Wawrinka playing an unnamed opponent.
The final match on Thursday will be between Nadal and Hurkacz. Djokovic and Kyrgios will conclude the week on Friday.
