Shapovalov believes Carlos Alcaraz and Lorenzo Musetti are future greats

With the Next Gen ATP Finals currently showcasing the rising stars on the ATP Tour, Canadian Denis Shapovalov has picked two of the eight 21-and-under players as future greats.
The World No.18 believes Carlos Alcaraz and Lorenzo Musetti have what it takes to succeed on the ATP circuit, and elaborated on this during a recent interview.
"Carlos has really improved a lot this season," admitted Shapovalov. "He played a big tournament at the US Open and he's a really, really talented guy who has grown out of all proportion over the past two years.
"We had heard a lot about him and he definitely put on some really spectacular tennis. He plays very aggressively and hits the ball very hard, so it's fun to watch him."
When asked about Musetti, the Canadian expressed his admiration for the Italian's one-handed backhand, as well as his strong work ethic.
"Lorenzo is another really nice player to admire in terms of playing style. His one-handed backhand is very elegant and produces impressive hits. I think his one-handed backhand is a great one. weapon and who has done really very well this season and the last two years, so he's another guy who is definitely a strong contender for the title. He's going to become a really great player."
