With Jannik Sinner pulling off an inspired victory over Novak Djokovic at the 2023 ATP Finals, former player Rennae Stubbs believes the Italian will win his maiden Grand Slam title in 2024.
Following an impressive 2023 season where Sinner won four titles and made two runner-up appearances, the 22-year old secured the biggest win of his career when he defeated 24-time Grand Slam champion Djokovic in the round robin stage of the ATP Finals in Turin. Spurred on by the home crowd, Sinner overcame a late charge from the Serbian to record a 7-5 6-7(5) 7-6(2) victory.
