Rennae Stubbs believes the Italian will win his maiden Grand Slam title in 2024.
Following an impressive 2023 season where Sinner won four titles and made two runner-up appearances, the 22-year old secured the biggest win of his career when he defeated 24-time Grand Slam champion Djokovic in the round robin stage of the ATP Finals in Turin. Spurred on by the home crowd, Sinner overcame a late charge from the Serbian to record a 7-5 6-7(5) 7-6(2) victory.
Stubbs expresses admiration for Sinner, believes he'll win a Major next year
Hundreds of fans and experts in the tennis community heaped praise on the Italian following his impressive victory, with Stubbs taking to social media to chime in on his potential.
"Sinner will win a major next year," wrote Stubbs on Twitter.
When asked by fans which Major would be the first, Stubbs predicted Sinner would win his first Grand Slam on a hard court, most likely the Australian Open or US Open.
