The bett1 Aces event is being held this week with the 2nd leg officially underway at the Templehof airport. The first match played was a match between Jannik Sinner and Karen Khachanov. It was a fascinating spectacle as it was the first one of the popularly called "Hangar edition" being held at an Aiport. The Italian didn't mind the atmosphere or the location so he started the match off better.

Very comfortable on his own serve and pretty strong on his opponents serve he snatched the 1st set with 6-3. It took much more of an effort to secure the 2nd set. Khachanov upped his level of play but Jannik responded in a similar way. Sinner remained calm and managed to prevail in a hard-fought tie break 7-6(3).

It was the 1st match of the day with the 2nd one scheduled at 15:00 CET. It is a match between two Struff and Haas.
