Spanish tennis player suspended for 15 years after shocking number of breaches

The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) has today suspended Aaron Cortes, a Spanish tennis player after a staggering number of breaches to his name and he has received a ban accordingly of 15 years taking him up to 2039.
Cortes had 35 breaches of the Tennis Anti-Corruption Program (TACP). This was conducted by ITIA and law enforcement with Cortes playing at a lowly level. He reached a career-high singles ranking of 955 in September 2017 and admitted to 35 breaches between 2016 and 2018, including contriving the outcome of events as well as accepting money to contrive the outcomes.
He also fell fowl of failure to report corrupt approaches, wagering on tennis and providing money to tournament officials in exchange for wildcards so a real catalogue of offences. He has been fined $75,000 albeit most of which is suspended standing at $56,250. He co-operated fully with the investigation and accepted the sanction. The Tennis Talker, a prominent Twitter account posted some of his results online and in particular retirements were a real alarm bell with nine in all from basically match defeat position down in the final game of the second set.
