10 more years of Stan Wawrinka? Oldest on tour Swiss ace has no plans yet of retirement

Stan Wawrinka shows no signs of slowing down with the recently turned 39-year-old three time Grand Slam champion one of the only players of the Big Three era not to be thinking of winding down in any way.
He has got a new coach in tow as he is joined by Benjamin Ebrahimzadeh with the German previously working with Dominic Thiem up until recently before the Austrian switched coaches in a bid to revive his fortunes which has of yet not paid dividends. But he has previously been involved also with Angelique Kerber and Alize Cornet as well as men's tennis stars. It represents the latest in a long line of coaches for 'Stan the Man'.
He has worked with Magnus Norman on a multitude of occasions as well as Paul Annacone, Richard Krajicek as well as Peter Lundgren and at the start of his career, Dimitri Zavialoff. Speaking to Blick, his new coach said that he shows no signs of giving up and joked that he wants to continue for 10 more years. He does not having a stopping date though. Wawrinka currently sits just inside the world's top 100.
“He told me (sarcastically) in Marrakech that he wanted to be another 10 years. More seriously, he did not define it for himself. He just wants to play, work day after day and continue to progress. The subject of retirement is not on the table," said Ebrahimzadeh to Blick.
