Stefanos Tsitsipas books maiden final on grass in Mallorca

Stefanos Tsitsipas once again proved better than Benjamin Bozni 6-4 6-4 to advance to the Mallorca Championships final.

The Greek player has been working hard this entire grass season in order to become better on the only surface where he was not good. The Greek player played a 3 consecutive week at an event to get better prepared for Wimbledon and it's finally paying off. He played another solid match to secure the final in Mallorca over Bonzi.

They played in Halle last week with Stefanos winning in three sets and this time around he was able to do it even quicker. It was a fairly solid match with his serve doing a lot of damage in the opening set. Bonzi was actually better during part of it but in the end, he could not keep up the same intensity, especially on the serve.

In the 2nd set, Tsisips was able to get an early break against Bonzi who could not match his solid level from the baseline. After that, he mainly focused on his own serve and despite serving worse than in the opening set he was able to hold on to win it.
