Carlos Alcaraz secured a notable victory against Arthur Rinderknech, extending his winning streak as he advanced to the semifinals of the Queen's Club Championships. The Spaniard now boasts 16 consecutive wins—after clinching titles at the Rome Open and Roland Garros—and is preparing to face either Holger Rune or Roberto Bautista Agut.

First Set: Alcaraz breaks late for opening advantage

In the first set, Rinderknech showed little regard for his opponent's favoritism and appeared solid on his serve, giving Alcaraz few chances to extend rallies. The Frenchman had previously surprised big servers like Ben Shelton and Reilly Opelka, conceding no break points to either opponent. The Frenchman's strong serving throughout the week allowed him to keep pace with Alcaraz for a significant portion of the first set.
Around 5-4, Alcaraz faced a deuce but managed to pull through. It was a complicated but revitalizing moment, as the Spaniard then dominated the latter part of the set. He only needed one break opportunity to take the lead and then served out the first set 7-5. The Spaniard had won 86% of points on his first serve compared to his opponent's 73%.

Second Set: Alcaraz seizes control, seals victory

Rinderknech still hadn't created any break opportunities, but that didn't make him lose composure. At the start of the second set, he managed to hold his serve, while Alcaraz strung together an impressive 11 consecutive points on his own serve. At 2-2, the critical moment arrived for Rinderknech, who once again offered a break opportunity, and Carlitos took it to gain the advantage. The victory was now well underway as Alcaraz showed no hesitation on his serve.
The five-time Grand Slam champion once again demonstrated why he's been the best grass-court player in recent seasons and had no trouble securing his serve until the end of the match. Alcaraz triumphed 7-5, 6-4, capitalizing on the few opportunities he had to advance to the tournament semifinals. His next opponent will be determined from the winner of the match between Holger Rune and Roberto Bautista Agut.
