Roger Federer will aim for a 10th title at the Swiss Indoors in Basel with the final later on against Alex de Minaur as the Swiss legend aims to win in front of his home crowd again.

Federer defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas yesterday and said after that he cannot wait to be in another final in Basel and that it is super exciting.
He also added that the crowd have given him a real advantage as they have given him support no matter what and that is what you do when you have that home court advantage.
“It was nice to come out strong. It was a really intense 35 or 40 minutes to start. I had a good middle section which gave me the first set and the lead in the second set, and never looked back,” Federer said. “It’s hard to believe that I’m in another Basel final. It’s super exciting.”
“Even if I’m up a set and a break, the [crowd] are not just there when I’m down in the score and feel like I need it,” Federer said. “They enjoy when I’m playing good tennis and it pushes me to play even better, keep on trying every point and try to make something happen. That’s what you do with a home court advantage.”
De Minaur on the other hand has also played excellent eliminating Reilly Opelka to reach his fourth final of the year, it was close though with it ending up 7-6, 6-7, 7-6 and he will aim to claim his fourth title of the season against Federer.
He spoke afterwards and said that he has loved his first experience in Basel and that he is really looking forward to getting out on court and having some fun when he plays in the final.
“I can’t wait. It’s my first time here in Basel and it’s been a hell of an experience," De Minaur said. "I’ve got my friends with me, so it’s a little bit different and it’s been paying off. I’m really looking forward to coming out tomorrow and having some fun.”
