Tennis star Taylor Fritz has begun working with a new apparel sponsor, as the American was announced to be a new brand ambassador for fashion giants, Hugo Boss.
The World No.21 had been signed with Nike since 2016, but recently split with the sporting corporation. Fritz was seen sporting Boss apparel in an exhibition match ahead of Indian Wells, and it was later announced that Fritz was their newest ambassador.
Italian Matteo Berrettini was the first ATP star to collaborate with the Boss fashion line, as the former Wimbledon runner-up signed on with the company in 2022. Nonetheless, it was announced on Wednesday that Boss would not only dress Fritz on court, but in "all official events, red-carpet moments, and interviews."
“I’m excited to join the BOSS family," Fritz said in a statement. "In both my tennis career and my personal life, I strive to deliver 110%, embrace new challenges, and stay true to myself–so I’m inspired by the brand’s values of living a self-determined life and ‘being your own BOSS. I look forward to bringing my best, most BOSS self to the court in sportswear that combines smart aesthetics with exciting, performance-driven features.”
