The tennis world surrenders to Rafael Nadal | Serena, Murray, Federer Djokovic: "You inspired me to win"

Rafael Nadal played his last professional match yesterday. After two decades at the top, aware that he can no longer, the Maracorí leaves with an incredible legacy of titles and, above all, of respect from his professional colleagues.
The Maracorí did not want to leave as a tribute, he wanted to do it competing in the Davis Cup with Spain and, although unfortunately he could not contribute to his country to go through the round in Malaga, he left with the applause of the public and also of his colleagues, who did not attend the event but remembered him in networks:
- Serena Williams: "Oh my God, you meant so much. In my career, you inspired me to achieve so many victories, to keep going, to fight, to get better, to basically play like you. My goodness, you will be missed."
- Andy Murray: "The passion and intensity with which you played is something that I think every tennis player aspires to have and something that every tennis fan will remember you for. It was amazing to watch you. Thanks for everything, Rafa. Enjoy retirement, my friend."
- Novak Djokovic: "Your tenacity, your fighting spirit, the energy you brought, the power, these are things that will be studied and passed on to many generations to come. I have been very honored and excited to be called your rival. The tennis and sports world will miss the incredible energy you brought to the court. There is much to celebrate. Thank you very much and good luck, my friend."
- Roger Federer: "Congratulations on the most incredible career. It was a privilege to play with you, but especially against you. Some of my favorite memories with you, Rafa, of course, include the 2008 Wimbledon final where you beat me.I wish you all the best for what's to come with your wonderful family. Congratulations on the most amazing career. Enjoy the moment. Take care, Rafa.
