The Prize Money and Points Breakdown has been confirmed ahead of the ATP 2025 ASB Classic Auckland, which takes place between January 6 - January 11. The tournament will be the last opportunity for the players to accumulate official matches before the Australian Open.
Among its main figures, the event will feature Ben Shelton, Cam Norrie, Alejandro Tabilo, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard and Reilly Opelka. Most of whom have spent the past week or so competing in Brisbane. Hong Kong champion Alexandre Muller also makes the dash over for this tournament.
An ATP 250, it doesn't attract the massive names but as ever it is very much more competitive as the big names have decided duly to head to Melbourne for practice over match practice.
The ASB Classic Auckland hosts both men's and women's events with a one-week difference. This week, the WTA event crowned Clara Tauson as the winner. She defeated Naomi Osaka in the final in what was a teary affair and saw the former World No.1 perhaps unintentionally clouding a big win for the Dane after retiring with injury. But while that gains a lot more clout, this tournament is also one to savour.
The 2024 champion is a certain Alejandro Tabilo who returns again this year as part of the main seeds. He will look to regain the title albeit with a fine line-up also on his heels. For winning the title, it is $103,455. The runner-up seals $60,350. While for reaching the semi-final, it is $35,480.
