Tommy Paul condemned
Hugo Dellien's grunt during his
match against
Cameron Norrie at the Rio Open.
Although the 25-year-old American didn’t compete this
week, he kept an eye on the latest tennis news. This time, he took to social
media to share a clip of the Norrie vs. Dellien quarterfinal match.
Tennis TV posted one of the match's key moments on
Instagram, which was a rally won by the European player that gave him the match
point and led to his victory. However, it was not the players' performance that
caught Paul's attention, but rather the grunting sounds made by the Bolivian
player, which he described as a "joke."
Paul's most recent appearance was last week at the
Delray Beach Open, where he lost 6-2, 6-2 to Radu Albot. This week, he will
make his debut at the Mexico Open against Ecuadorian player Emilio Gómez.
