Top tennis stars gear up for Paris 2024 Olympic Games: Who's in and who's out as Entry List set

Played between July 27 - 4 August, 2024, tennis will head back to Paris and the courts of Roland Garros for a second time this year with the 2024 Olympic Games being played on the surface. The Entry Lists for the singles and doubles have now been confirmed.

But who will represent their country? Most of the top names are involved in the gold medal hunt with glaring omissions from the men's and women's mainly being the likes of Aryna Sabalenka, Ons Jabeur, Andrey Rublev and Emma Raducanu.

All had spots if they wanted them but decided to decline for varying reasons. But Jannik Sinner as World Number One will lead the way for Italy. Having form after a Davis Cup victory for his country of anchoring his side home, he will do it all for himself in singles and as previous years have told us, the Olympic Games is very much a different playing field.

Alexander Zverev is the defending gold medalist and Andy Murray for instance has won it twice. He plays his final Olympic Games after being afforded an ITF spot. But Novak Djokovic for instance has never won it. He will attempt to finally complete a dream. Rafael Nadal will also play in his final games. He is also set to play doubles with Carlos Alcaraz and plays at the Bastad Open with Casper Ruud to get ready.

Others involved include Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula, Maria Sakkari, Daniil Medvedev playing as a neutral. As well as Casper Ruud, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Holger Rune, Caroline Wozniacki, Naomi Osaka among others.

Like alluded to most of the top 10 will play and despite what seemed like a cull a few weeks ago of those who were playing the tournament, it seems like most have committed to the event.
