American tennis star
Frances Tiafoe took some friendly shots at compatriot
Jessica Pegula in an attempt to navigate a sponsorship deal with a popular fast food chain.
Following his title run in Houston last weekend, Tiafoe revealed his desire to team up with fast food giants Chick-fil-A. The 26-year old took to Instagram to announce his intentions.
"Celebrate success the right way @chickfila cut the check... tryna be my own agent like @jpegula," wrote Tiafoe.
Pegula soon responded, jokingly making a plea on Tiafoe's behalf.
"@chickfila where ya at?" she wrote in her Instagram stories.
Tiafoe recently inked a sponsorship with Miami Open sponsor Stella Artois, an this prompted Pegula to publicly question how she could score a deal with the brand. The beer company was quick to respond, inking Pegula to an endorsement deal.
