The Race to Turin is still going on with four players in contention for two spots ahead of the final event in Paris.
The ATP 1000 event in Paris starts today and four players still have a chance to find themselves in Turin. They are Auger-Aliassime,
Andrey Rublev,
Hubert Hurkacz and
Taylor Fritz. Rublev and Auger-Aliassime are fairly close to qualifying with only a triumph by Fritz or Hurkacz at the event possibly unseating them in Turin.
Auger-Aliassime made a huge step forward when he won the Basel event a few days ago and he has 700 more points than Fritz and 800 more points than Hurkacz. Rublev is not far behind as he has 500 more points than Fritz and 600 more than Hurkacz.
The only way either of those players could push himself into the
ATP Finals field is if they win the event and that's quite unlikely.
