With Fourth of July festivities limited this weekend in the United States, tennis fans can look to the Ultimate Tennis Showdown for their dose of fireworks.
The day session begins with an all-French battle as Elliot Benchetrit takes on Benoit Paire at 4PM EST. This will be followed by Germany's Dustin Brown facing off against Spanish veteran Feliciano Lopez. Australian youngster Alexei Popyrin takes on French journeyman Richard Gasquet in the final match of the day session.
The night session kicks off at 9PM EST with Belgian David Goffin squaring off against France's Corentin Moutet. The World No.10 is undefeated against the Frenchman, claiming the most recent of their two meetings at the 2019 US Open. The final match of the Independence Day battles features Greece's Stefanos Tsitsipas taking on Italy's Matteo Berrettini. This is sure to produce fireworks as both are ranked in the ATP Top 10, with Tsitsipas winning their sole previous encounter at the 2019 Australian Open.
