Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios has never been afraid to voice his opinions, and he proved this once again when he recalled an incident involving Rafael Nadal that occurred at the 2019 Wimbledon Championships.
Kyrgios faced Nadal in a highly-anticipated second round encounter, which the Aussie ended up losing. However, he did leave a parting shot at Nadal, quite literally, as he struck a forehand directly into his opponent's chest when Nadal approached the net during a point.
The former World No.13 didn't apologize during the match and showed no remorse during his press conference, stating "I don't care. Why would I apologize? I mean the dude has how many slams? How much in his bank account? I think he can take a ball to the chess man."
The 26-year old seemed to reignite this feud when he reposted the clip from Tennispointsmachine to his Instagram story, with the video asking fans if the action was fair or unfair.
"Very fair in my opinion," wrote Kyrgios.
Several fans seemed to agree with him, with the majority of people also believing the shot was fair.
