The 2024 Australian Open provided special memories for players and fans alike, but it was a ballkid at the event who seemed to have some of the most memorable experiences at this year's edition of the Melbourne Major.
An Australian Open ballkid took to TikTok recently to recall her favorite moments and matches from the event. She highlighted the matches between Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev, Elena Rybakina vs Anna Blinkova, Taylor Fritz vs Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Emil Ruusuvuori vs Daniil Medvedev as some of her favorite matches.
Aside from witnessing the longest tiebreak in the history of Grand Slam singles matches, when Blinkova prevailed over Rybakina in a marathon 6-4 4-6 7-6 (20) victory, the ballkid also revealed that a 209 km/h ace hit by Alcaraz hit her on the leg, during the Spaniard's quarterfinal clash against Zverev.
