Dominic Thiem played top-drawer tennis at the 2020 ATP Finals, but it was not enough to get the title as he lost in the second final in a row.
Some of the players in London produced so high level of tennis, that they deserved their own highlight reel. After Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal, Dominic Thiem also became one of those players as the Austrian was showing unbelievably good tennis at the 2020 ATP Finals.
Dominic Thiem secured his semifinal spot already after two matches at the 51st edition of the ATP Finals. After defeating Rafael Nadal and Stefanos Tsitsipas, he lost to Andrey Rublev but still advanced from the first place.
Then, he defeated world number 1, Novak Djokovic in the semifinals in what was one of the best matches of the 2020 ATP Finals with the Austrian winning 7-5, 6-7(10(, 7-6(5). However, in the final, he lost in three sets to Daniil Medvedev and finished second at the ATP Finals again. You can watch some of his best shots from London in the video below.
