Novak Djokovic has had a very good year in 2020 despite not achieving all that he wanted to achieve.
He started the year off in great fashion winning the Australian Open in a very thrilling match. Then the season got suspended and once he returned his results haven't been the best. He was cruising at the US Open before being defaulted in a very strange manner. He cruised at the French Open as well before being crushed in the final.
Then the indoor hard courts season came along and while there were some good matches there were far more disappointments. It didn't quite go as planned but he retained the number one spot which was extremely important to him.
