Grigor 💀 also why are we speaking of dentists??
Amidst the World Tennis League, Grigor Dimitrov was asked if he enjoys going to the dentist. The Bulgarian tennis player gave a hilariously candid response while watching the match between his teammates Paula Badosa and Aryna Sabalenka against Iga Swiatek and Caroline Garcia.
Dimitrov was part of the Kites team alongside Stefanos Tsitsipas and Lloyd Harris, stepping in midway through the tournament due to some physical discomfort experienced by Tsitsipas. In the final, they faced off against the Eagles team consisting of Russians Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev, Mirra Andreeva, and the American Sofia Kenin.
A lighthearted moment occurred during the exhibition tournament. During the matches, team members comment live with the commentators on their teammates' duels. During the women's doubles in the match against the Hawks, Dimitrov was caught off guard with a peculiar question: "Grigor, you probably don’t expect this question. Do you like going to the dentist? Do you have a particular fear of the dentist?"
Dimitrov's response elicited laughter from the commentators: “No, I f***ing… sorry, hate it. I hate it,” Grigor Dimitrov said. “We understand your sentiments, but we apologize straightaway for that comment,” responded the commentator, laughing.
