Rafael Nadal and
Matteo Berrettini played a very good in the
Australian Open semifinal and the Spaniard emerged as the victor.
The match had several great rallies as both players were playing on a fairly high level. Both Berrettini and Nadal have devastating forehands despite being quite different shots. During a rally, Nadal demonstrated the effectiveness of his forehand but Berrettini shoed a side of himself that is not really known. Court coverage and defence is not something the Italian is known for but he fought very hard in this rally.
In the end, the Italian was betrayed by his forehand as he tried to go for a very difficult winner which won Nadal the game but the point had everything. Check it out below.
