There are not a lot of symbols more famous than the Canadian National Symbol and Nadal, Medvedev, Tsitsipas and others tried drawing it.
In a fun interview segment with many different players, ATP asked the players whether they could draw the Canadian National Symbol on a tennis ball. Many players participated including Nadal, Tsitsipas, Medvedev, Rublev, Monfils, Kyrgios, Schwartzman, Ruud, De Minaur and native Canadians Shapovalov, Pospisil and Felix Auger-Aliassime.
The twist came when players found out they only had 30 seconds. Some players gave hilarious reactions to it such as Rublev and Medvedev who were so amazed by the requirement they could only utter '30 seconds'. Pospisil became nervous straight away saying: "I'm a little bit nervous."
Players were fairly confident in their drawing skills with Kyrgios exclaiming 'It's not horrendous' about his creation. Medvedev was typically Medvedev saying he was proud of himself as he doesn't know how to paint.
To his credit, his drawing looked better than most. If you want to see how it went check out it below. Who do you think did best?
