Kei Nishikori has begun his rehab after undergoing hip surgery for an issue that plagued him for the majority of 2021.
Kei Nishikori is once again rehabbing and injury as he underwent hip surgery a couple of days ago. The hop problems followed him throughout 2021 not allowing him to play a lot of matches. The Japanese player was frustrated at the inability to remain healthy but underwent surgery that should have him back on the courts in about six months.
He posted a video on social media showing himself walking on crutches noting that the long rehab has begun. Hopefully it will go smoothly and Nishikori will be back shortly. Many fans miss him on the tour and even Nadal famously said that he is one of the best players in the world when he is fully healthy. Unfortunately, it's not been the case many times.
