Novak Djokovic announced his split with long-time coach, Goran Ivanisevic after six years and as a result, a video of him going ballistic at his team at the Australian Open has been reshared proving that the writing was potentially on the wall.
Djokovic took to social media to break the news thanking Ivanisevic for their six years together as well as lauding not only their relationship on court, but him being a close friend.
His split with Ivanisevic is an interesting one solely as he has had a poor start to the season for his standards but still made it to the semi-finals of the Australian Open amid injury issues with his wrist. The only huge shock was in fact his defeat to World No.123 at the time in Luca Nardi at Indian Wells.
Now ahead of the clay court season, Djokovic will pull the trigger coaching wise and a video of him pointing at his team and going ballistic as he was losing at the Australian Open shows fractures earlier in the season.
