Novak Djokovic is currently hosting an even on Rod Laver Arena as part of Opening Week of the 2024 Australian Open (14-28 January) called Novak Djokovic and Friends which has seen the 24-time Grand Slam champion try out different sports.
This has included basketball which has shown that Djokovic is adept at most disciplines, he also challenged international gymnast Georgia Godwin at his flexibility challenge as well as Aussie cricket legend, Steve Smith both in cricket and tennis. But it was the similar form to his sport that he struggled with most in wheelchair tennis.
With the help of Stefanos Tsitsipas and Aryna Sabalenka who were part of the line-up, he was wheeled into position to take a return from Heath Davidson. But he didn't exactly have the best return.
With Djokovic not being able to do it, it shows exactly how remarkable wheelchair tennis is as he shanked his return towards the umpire as opposed to Maria Sakkari standing on the other end of the court. But the whole process was leaving Sabalenka and Tsitsipas both in stitches as they helped out the World Number One.
