Novak Djokovic nearly got defaulted from his match against Botic van de Zandschulp on Saturday at the
Australian Open with the 10-time champion at the tournament being left frustrated and nearly out of the tournament.
Djokovic who infamously hit a line judge during the US Open and was defaulted hit a frustrated ball after losing a point and decided to take out his frustrations by smashing the ball in a video shared by journalist Jose Moron on
beIN Sports 2's coverage.
It grazed the ball kid who was down the left hand side of the net and if he would've hit him, Djokovic would've been disqualified from the match itself.
Currently up to press though he is in a good position with the fourth seed 6-3, 6-4 up on Van de Zandschulp and is 1-1 in the third set. The Dutchman not posing as many problems as perhaps was feared originally.
