VIDEO: Novak Djokovic shares heartwarming moment with tennis photographer who captured his historic moment at the Paris Olympics

Former World No.1 Novak Djokovic is known for his friendly demeanor off the court, and the Serbian superstar took some time to share a moment with a Tennis Channel photographer who had captured Djokovic's gold medal-winning moment at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

The 37-year old was on a quest to win gold at the Olympics, the only accolade missing from his illustrious resume. The Serbian worked hard to return to form prior to the Olympics, before outlasting the competition, defeating Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz to capture the elusive gold medal.

Djokovic reunites with tennis photographer

In a segment on the Tennis Channel, Djokovic got the chance to meet up with Matt Fitzgerald, the photographer who captured the 24-time Grand Slam champion celebrating with his family once he realized he had finally achieved his laborious quest.

A short clip showed Matt Fitzgerald presenting Djokovic with a photo of the moment, with the photographer telling the Serbian it was his personal favorite. Djokovic would ask Fitzgerald to sign the picture, much to the surprise and astonishment of Fitzgerald. After signing the picture, the duo would then take another picture together, this time with Djokovic holding the signed photo beside Fitzgerald. Below is the full video.
