Andrey Rublev is not having much fun on the tennis court in the past weeks with the Russian experiencing a crisis of results.
The Russian has not played well at all and since the US Open his results and performances have been getting worse. It's not an ideal scenario for the Russian who will play at the ATP Finals very soon and there is not much time to fix some of the issues that he has been having. Today he at least blew off some steam during an eruption of frustration in his match against Fritz.
It happened during the 2nd set tiebreak and considering it was his 2nd code violation he lost a point because of it. Rublev made sure not to smash the racquet against the court option to smash it against his foot. A risky proposition but quite entertaining to watch.
