Greece’s star Stefanos Tsitsipas and his girlfriend Spain’s Paula Badosa are famous as a power couple in the world of tennis. Both have been dating for a long time and have seen a lot of ups and downs in the past 12 months.

In a video that was released on the social media platform X — previously known as Twitter — Tsitsipas can be seen stressed while watching his girlfriend play in the Stuttgart Open opening round encounter against Diana Shnaider where she emerged victorious in straight sets with a score of 6-3, 6-4. She is now set to face the current world number two Belarus’ Aryna Sabalenka in the round of 16 of the mega-event on Wednesday.

This will be the sixth meeting between the two. In the previous five outings, it was Sabalenka who had a slight edge with three wins compared to just two defeats. Their most recent outing was two years back in the Miami Open where the reigning Australian Open champion came out on top in straight sets with a score of 6-4, 6-3. On the other hand, Tsitsipas is currently taking part in the Barcelona Open where he will face Austria’s Sebastian Ofner in the round of 32 clash on Wednesday. He has recently won the Monte-Carlo Masters for the third time in his career after beating Norway’s Casper Ruud in the final in straight sets with a score of 6-1, 6-4.
