Andy Murray revealed yesterday a crazy sequence of events that saw him ultimately lose his tennis shoes but more important also his wedding ring.
Murray shared the story in a video posted by the official ATP Twitter page and as you can imagine he wasn't in a very good mood. He also shared he was in trouble with his home base in the UK, obviously for losing his wedding ring. Fast forward to a day later and Murray is now back to sharing stories via the official ATP Tour Twitter page but this time around he was in a bit of a better mood.
He explained that he needed to make a few calls to security but ultimately he said:
"The shoes are back, the wedding ring is back."
Funnily enough, Murray also took quite a deep breath from the shoes noting that they still absolutely stink. But he was also in a better mood saying:
"I'm back in the good books. Let's go." It's good to see Murray is at peace with home base again and it's good to see him having his tennis shoes back as he will need them in the early hours of tomorrow morning when he is set to make his debut at the 2021 BNP Paribas Open against Adrian Mannarino.
