VIDEO: Andy Murray reveals that he lost his wedding ring in Indian Wells

Andy Murray is in Indian Wells where he is set to compete at the BNP Paribas Masters this week but his stay there did not get off to a great start. In a video posted by the ATP, Twitter page Murray explained how an unfortunate sequence of events lead to him losing his wedding ring.

He started off by saying 'Hey everyone, got a quick story for you here.' In the next minute and half, Murray explained how the night before after dinner he got back into his car to drive back to the Hotel. The car as he put it did not smell great cause he left his tennis shoes in there. Upon arrival at the hotel, he decided to dry them up a bit because they were damp.

Becuase Murray did not have a balcony in his room, Murray elected to leave the shoes below the parked car but trouble arose the morning after when he noticed the shoes have gone missing. He then said:

"I was preparing for my practice and my physio said to me 'where is your wedding ring?' and I was like 'Oh no'. I basically tie my wedding ring to my shoes when I'm playing cause I can't play with it on my hand. So yeah my wedding ring has been stolen as well."

He asked people to share the video and help him recover it.
