Tennis legends John McEnroe and Andre Agassi may have hung up their tennis rackets, but the duo are still very active on the pickleball circuit.
Both men were invited to participate in the inaugural Pickleball Slam, which took place this past weekend in Hollywood, Florida. Considering their outgoing and unique personalities, it came as no surprise that the event was as entertaining as expected.
McEnroe, in true fashion, was quick to antagonize the umpires over calls he believed were erroneous. The former World No.1 let the crowd know how he felt, at one point scolding an umpire over a missed call.
"Once again, the umpires get in the way of everything!!" he yelled.
Agassi, on the other hand, was more subtle with his protests, picking up the pickleball and gingerly placing it outside the line, indicating he thought the ball was out. The contrast in protests was amusing, and is a great showcase of the different personalities encountered on the pickleball court.
