World's leading players Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Dominic Thiem have enjoyed their time in Adelaide so far, training without issues and experiencing different bubble to the Melbourne one.
Three rivals will play an exhibition match on January 29, and they still don't know if they would be able to train together next week or stick to the players they choose to bring with them to Adelaide.
Wolfgang Thiem will work with his son in the absence of Nicolas Massu. The older Thiem said they haven't even seen Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic after landing in Adelaide (they shared the flight from Spain), with every player staying on its own floor and under strict quarantine measures.
Thiem will lead Austria at the ATP Cup before entering the season's first Major at the Australian Open, hoping to go one step further than a year ago and claim his second Major trophy.
Dominic led two sets to one against Novak Djokovic 12 months ago before the Serb turned the tables around and prevailed in five sets.
