The Australian Open begins in a day and we know when some of the biggest tennis stars in the world will take to the courts at the first major of the year.
Rafael Nadal is the defending champion as he defeated Daniil Medvedev in the final last year. He will start off his 2023 campaign against rising star Jack Draper who will be a tough challenge for him. The match will be played on day one of the event and it will be the 3rd match of the day on the Rod Laver Arena. It won't start before 2:30 local time which is about 04:30 CET.
Iga Swiatek will start off against Jule Niemeier in Melbourne and that's a tough matchup. They played in New York and the German gave her quite a run in that one. She's not playing well at the moment but you never know at a grand slam. It will be the 4th match of the day at the Rod Laver arena on day one.
It's set to start at 19:00 local time which is about 9 am CET. Emma Raducanu will also play on day one and she will start off her Australian Open against Tamara Korpastch. That match will begin at 11:00 local time which is 01:00 CET.
