"Where is the pressure" criticizes Becker Osaka for her Wimbledon withdrawal

Naomi Osaka withdrew from Wimbledon only weeks after she withdrew from Roland Garros due to mental health and Becker was not impressed.

Noami Osaka created quite a stir with the whole Roland Garros fiasco that she decided to pull out of Wimbledon as well. Her reason has been her mental health which has been badly affected by the necessity of attending press conferences. It prompted the Japanese Olympic Committee to allow Osaka to skip press conferences at the Olympics after which she confirmed she will attend them.

Boris Becker was not impressed by any of that he said:

"Is that really pressure? Isn’t it pressure when you don’t have food on the table? When you have got to feed your family and don’t have a job? When you have a life-changing injury? Isn’t that more pressure?"

Becker followed up that with even harsher words for Osaka. He said:

“You’re 23, you’re healthy, you’re wealthy, your family is good. Where is the f**king pressure?”
