The qualifying rounds of the 2023
Davis Cup happened over the weekend and we have 12 more nations that will be part of the Finals later this year.
The nations that qualified before and didn't need to play in this stage were the champions Canada, Spain, Italy and Australia. The other nations had to book a place by beating another nation and we have the full list of those that made it.
Borna Coric led his country past Austria beating them 3-1 to book a place in the Finals.
France was able to edge out Hungary thanks to spectacular play by
Ugo Humbert who won both of his singles matches over Maroszan and Fucsovics. Switzerland stunned Germany in Trier as Wawrinka clinched the decider after Huesler upset Zverev earlier in the day. They turned around a 1-2 deficit into a 3-2 victory on the final day.
Great Britain travelled to Colombia and they are taking home a 3-1 win over them thanks to Cam Norrie and some of his heroics. South Korea produced a major upset over Belgium 3-2 while Sweden cruised past Bosnia & Herzegovina 3-1. Finland took down Argentina 3-1 with the Czech Republic and Chile also booking spots in the next round.
