The former coach of Andre Agassi has praised
Rafael Nadal for setting a great example for young players coming up hoping to see plenty of little Rafa's on the Tour.
Nadal has always been an exemplary pro, something he was taught from a very early age. Coming from a family of athletes, Nadal grew up around sports albeit his sport of choosing was tennis. Nadal has been a great ambassador of the sport, it's one of the reasons why his popularity is only eclipsed by probably the best ambassador the sport ever had- Roger Federer.
Daren Cahill is a fan of Rafa and especially the way he handles his business on and off the court. He admitted that he hopes to see more little Rafa's in the future because he's such a great example:
"Rafa is an amazing person, an amazing athlete. You want the next generation to be little Rafa's, don't you? The way they train, the way they treat their opponents, the way they treat everything. His work ethic is second to none, the way he goes about his tennis. You want the next generation to have his ethics, his work ethic."
Cahill also marvelled at Nadal managing to keep up with the young guys, just like Djokovic. He won two majors last year and his not going to give up his mantle so quickly yet:
"We would love some of the young guns to come through and start winning a few Majors, that would be great for the sport. But these guys are not going to give up the mantle easily."
