He does realize he went to prison because of choices he made, right? Like... you did an illegal thing, Boris - that's why you were in prison. You're lucky they felt pity and let you out early.
Fans on social media did not like the comment of the former world number one Boris Becker about players complaining about other things.
The 55-year-old recently commented about how he laughs when he hears other players complaining about facilities and food, especially after spending time in prison.
"When I hear players complaining about the pressure they feel at one point, I laugh. When I hear players complain about the quality of the lounge food, I laugh. When I hear players complaining about training and the conditions on the pitches, I laugh. It means nothing compared to spending time in prison. On the first and last night you don't sleep for a second," Becker said.
That comment did not go down well with the fans on social media who reminded the six-time Grand Slam winner that he went to prison because of his wrongdoings and nothing else.
The Leimen-born is currently coaching Denmark’s young tennis tar Holger Rune to help him recover his lost mojo.
Becker won six Grand Slams in his career. His most successful competition was Wimbledon where he ended up lifting the title as many as three times—1985, 1986 and 189.
