Andy Murray as ever was at his entertaining best on Twitter on Wednesday as he poked fun again at his compatriot and friend
Liam Broady after his thoughts on Arsenal's 5-0 win over Chelsea on Tuesday night.
Broady is a big Manchester City supporter and offered his thoughts as Chelsea were poor against the title leaders as Kai Havertz scored twice against his former club. Broady offered up questions about why they were performing so bad and Murray was quick to offer up a response.
He shared a screenshot of his Instagram story saying people can read his thoughts below and said "Great thought mate. I’m sure people will come flooding to your page for this sort of insight," he tweeted with laughing emojis. Broady didn't take too kindly too it responding: "You’re such a div man leave me alone."
The duo are well known for having a slanging match on the platform from time to time all in good jest as Murray prepares for his return to action. He does not need surgery after ankle ligament injury sustained at Miami. He will likely return during the grass court season in the run-up to his final Wimbledon. But it is good to see that even injured/off the court, his humour hasn't left him. A trademark of the former World No.1.
