Alexander Zverev kicked off his Paris Masters campaign with a match against Kecmanovic today and he was superb winning 6-2 6-2.

Zverev switched the Cologne hard courts with the Paris ones but the result was similar. It took him only 56 minutes to dispatch of Kecmanovic who really didn't have a great day. Zverev started off the first set with a break, taking a 2-0 lead. He continued playing well and he added another break later on to take a 5-1 lead. Kecmanovic managed to win another game but that was it as Sasha ended with 6-2. It was a superb display of tennis by Zverev who hit 5 aces and lost only 5 points on his own serve en route to the quick 1st set finish.
The 2nd set had the same result but it went a bit more different. Zverev didn't serve as well as he did in the first set but he still played well. Kecmanovic struggled on his 2nd serve as Zverev attacked it repeatedly. Ultimately he broke Kecmanovic twice en route to another 6-2 victory. This time around he lost only 3 points on his own serve with all of them coming on his 2nd serve. His impressive level is highlighted by the fact that Kecmanovic never had a break point.
A great display by Zverev who enters this even in stellar form and with the way the event is shaping up he could be considered the 2nd favourite just behind Rafael Nadal.
