As world number 1 lost to Filip Krajinovic, Zverev felt a great chance to win his group and reach the final of the Adria Tour. The German showed that also on the court when he didn't let his opponent get into the rhythm.
It was Troicki who first had 3 breakpoints in the 3rd game of the first set. However, those were the only breakpoints he got during the match and didn't convert any of those. On the other hand, Zverev converted 3 of the 6 breakpoints he got and so he triumphed 4-1, 4-1 after 38 minutes.
